Editorial policy
Global Stage Stories aims to make performance traditions and storytelling choices clear without pretending that every form works in the same way. Our editorial decisions favour careful language, useful context and transparent corrections.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements before publication and shape each piece to its subject. Where traditions, terms or practices vary, we avoid presenting one version as universal. We do not claim research, testing or access that has not taken place.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial choices are made separately from partnership arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can send the details through the Contact page. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, correct the text and make the nature of the change clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Images are chosen to support the subject and are not presented as documentary evidence unless that is stated. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where applicable, they are identified as such.
