Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about performance and storytelling: the forms people use, the traditions around them, the spaces they inhabit and the ways audiences take part. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What makes a good pitch
Propose one focused question or idea, explain why it matters to readers and outline the approach you would take. A strong pitch has a clear subject, useful context and a distinct point of view without relying on sweeping claims about a culture or tradition.
Topics we consider
Ideas may explore performance forms, storytelling choices, performance spaces, objects and movement, or audience customs. We value proposals that notice differences between traditions and explain unfamiliar terms with care.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page to send a short pitch and a brief description of your approach. Please include any relevant experience or links to published work if you wish; credentials are not required. A proposal is not a commission, and we will reply if it is a fit.
